The transcripts and video footage of Beuys ‘performances’ and ‘actions’ on display at the Tate Modern, London are muffled and chaotic exaggerated by the bad audio quality so he appears mediumistic and the immediacy and potency of his Social Sculptural 'Actions' are lost in the Gallery Context.
